I was really bored with the old style taps, and various other water system at my place. Finally I have decided to get them replace with latest ones. Next week the renovation work will start.

I talked to various plumbers to gather information about plumbing and various equipments that should be used. Plumbing is the skilled trade of working with tubes, pipes and other plumbing fixtures for drinking water systems and the drainage of the waste. A plumber is a person who is expert with installation and repair of different plumbing equipments. Plumbing works should be taken great care of in the home due to the need of clean water and proper channel for waste.

These days high pressure pumps are used. Pipes made up of copper,brass, plastic,or other nontoxic material are beneficial. The drains and vents a re usually made up of plastic, steel and cast iron. Lead is avoided as it is toxic in nature.

The most basic and most commonly used plumbing equipments are the pipes and the tubes. The basic difference between them is that the pipes are thicker as compared to the tubes and are formed via casting or welding while tubes are made through extrusion.

There are various other different plumbing equipments that are uses in buildings, huge factories etc. These are elbows, trees, unions, valves. These are used in a complicated setup.
