Versace

The show notes for Versace spring/summer 2010 described the collection as “a romantic image of the foreign legion”. Consequently we saw militaristic styling with epaulettes, braiding and buttons (but in silver not brass) featuring on crisp linens and light cottons.

The hue remained the same throughout: sandy tones, cream and white delicately merged with tans, oranges and browns. The casting set a grown-up tone with much older models than we’ve seen elsewhere. Paul Sculfor (who used to date Cameron Diaz), Will Chalker and Andreas Velencoso (Kylie Minogue’s beau) gave the clothes a more mature look and spoke to an older clientele.

There was a distinct North African mood, as though the legionnaires had been posted to a deserted and arid territory. Fabrics appeared sun bleached and jackets were often paired over long silk tunics and djellabas. All in all, the message was a clear one: a lazy, hazy and typically sexy Versace summer ahead.

Etro

What’s not to love about Etro? Kean Etro is reliably off-trend and all the better for it. In a season where navy blue dominated, Etro in comparison showed every colour under the sun. This is exactly what you want to look like on holiday. From salmon pinks to cornflower blues to paisley printed summer trench coats, these aren’t clothes for the shy and retiring.

But in a city where fashion can take itself too seriously, Etro is all about pure enjoyment. Africa was a big influence here, with pockets and elbow patches in Mafai-style beading. This is a collection that is incredibly easy to pack, with crushed cottons that will come out of the suitcase looking as good as they did when they went in.

So for the latest trends and fashion always look for Etro and Versace as they both have fantastic clothes.

Everywhere you look these days you’re being told that you need to lose weight and get flat abs. If you’re watching TV, you see infomercials that tell you about some new diet pill that you have to have. If you’re looking through a magazine, you’ll see ads throughout. Everywhere you look, you see advertising and media that make you want to be skinnier. You see models and actresses that make you think skinny is the norm. While it should be, unfortunately it is not. The vast majority of people in this country are at least a little overweight. While not everyone is, there are a lot of people that could afford to lose weight.

While it’s a generally accepted fact that we need to lose weight, do you really know why you need to? If it’s purely for looks, then there’s a good chance that you’ll give up along the way to losing the fat. You’ll come to a difficult part of your workout and come up with every reason in the book to give up. However, if you know the true reason that you need to lose belly fat, you’ll be much more likely to stick with it. You’ll want to actually do something about it.

Belly fat can lead to a number of different health conditions that lead to serious complications or death. One of the dangerous things that it can lead to is Type II Diabetes. If you’re not familiar with it, you should know that it is not an enjoyable experience. While this isn’t always the case, having belly fat can be a major factor in developing it. You’ll have to take injections all the time to regulate your insulin level.

When you have visceral fat, you are susceptible to a plethora of diseases. Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke are a few of the things that you can expect. The fat itself doesn’t make you have a heart attack, but the way your body reacts to the fat is what causes it.

Specifically when you store excess fat, your liver will have more fat stored in it as well. This makes things extremely difficult on your body’s processes. When your blood passes through the liver, it is tasked with the responsibility of removing the insulin. When there is excess fat in the liver, it’s much more difficult to complete this task.

Why is belly fat so dangerous exactly? It can cause you to be insulin resistant for one. This leads to your pancreas being overworked and your body creates a poison that slowly erodes the inside of your body. This is not a way that you want to finish your life.

Garages Can Be Used For Many Things

If you have an over sized garage or just some extra unused space, you might be trying to think of some garage ideas. You can do all sorts of things in your garage and with your garage to use that space. This is especially true if you live in a warmer climate were the garage does not get too cold.

Turning your garage, or part of your garage, into something like a weight room is something that a lot of men think of doing. This works well as the garage is the perfect place for heavy workout machines and it is also separate from the house so you can crank your stereo up all the way if you like. Be creative with that extra space in the garage and make it into something that you will use and get value out of.

Your garage is similar to your basement in that there is a lot of potential there but it is sometimes hard to know exactly what to do with it. When you are considering remodeling your garage, you should think about what you really need and whether there is enough room in the garage to do what you want done. If you have the room and the money, you can turn that extra space into almost anything.

Many houses are in a cold climate which means that much of the year your garage is probably very cold. This will limit what you can do with your garage unless you come up with a good heating system. If you live in a climate that is a nice temperature year round though, you might very well be able to turn that extra space in the garage into an extra room. Something like a hobby room or an office are two common ideas. Garage remodeling ideas are fun to think about because it is almost like you are getting a new room in the house.

If you look around long enough, you will find that some people have unique garage ideas that they have used. When you see a person’s garage and notice that it is not for parking their car, you then wonder what it is for. Some of the practical ideas people have for their garages are things like turning it into an extra guest room, a laundry room, or an office. Some people just don’t have enough space in their house and have decided to make up for it by using the garage.
